The 2010 Commerce Centre, an initiative of the BC Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat, has been created to help inform, educate and connect businesses to the opportunities of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and to create long lasting economic benefits for the Province of British Columbia.

With the close of the Beijing 2008 Summer Games, the spotlight has turned to Vancouver 2010. Between now and the start of the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games, there will be numerous procurement opportunities covering a variety of products and services. These will include formal and informal procurement by a wide range of 2010-related buyers, such as Olympic sponsors, National Olympic Committees, and broadcasters. VANOC, recently informed local businesses that it alone expects to issue over 2,000 purchase orders and contracts in the next 15 months. More

BC Canada Pavilion Arches Gifted to Beijing
