In 2007 God provided a ten acre farm for the new permanent location of Mercy and Caring Children's Home.  Presently, this is the only site, and it has 2 dorms housing a total of 80 children, plus ten classrooms with 101 day students from the community.  Fees from the paying day students help to subsidize the cost of morning break finger millet(porridge) and githeri for lunch(beans and corn.)  Greens, called sukumawiki (Swahili for "stretch the week") as well as beans and cabbage are grown on the farmsite.
