Nancy and Ed have left for their 10th trip to Kenya in September and The British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Bretheren Churches had a couple of older laptops they were not using, and gave them to Nancy to take with them.

God bless them for thinking of our children.  Do you have anything you think they would need or that could be converted to cash so Nancy & Ed could buy supplies when they are there?

Can you help us buy a new truck for the MCCH in Kenya?

Donate your "gently used" or resellable car, van, boat, RV or whatever to Mercy Home.  You will receive a tax receipt for the value that we re-sell it for (after we have done minor repairs if required).  The proceeds will go towards the purchase of a "new" truck in Kenya!  Interested?  Call Dane Ruck at 604-886-9792 or
email him.

Beautiful Kenyan children who lived in a slum on the outskirts of Kitale now have their necessities met, and can look forward to tomorrow. When the children had been moved from rental place to rental place, God heard the cry for a ten acre property.  Our Treasurer saw the land first in a vision of yellow flowers.

ARROWROOTS

I hadn't gone down to walk in the gardens for sometime but accompanied all the kids with Sheryl and Paul. I was delighted to see the sukumawiki (greens) growing tall, huge leaves of arrowroot plants, new tomato plants, spinach and beans planted and doing well.

I have requested that one tenth of the produce be given away to destitute families as a tithe to honor God who has blessed our gardens and enabled this whole project

BASICS

Each child receives the basics of food shelter, education, healthcare and love. Imagine having no one to provide these things for you, and no one to love you and you are still a child. Join us in being blessed by taking care of such precious children. Sponsorship is $50 per month.

We are believing God to be able to complete these buildings and bring in more children. Everyday we are meeting pathetic cases that need to be at Mercy and Caring Home. When we begin to fill the new dorm with children, we also need new sponsors to pay for the care of these children. Pray for God to touch hearts of those who would have this privilege of caring for the needy. I've been reading in Psalms that "Blessed are those who care for the needy."

We appreciate so much your prayers and support. Thank you!!

Love in Christ, Edwin and Nancy Cahill
