Call for Entries - Wear From Here: Sunshine Coast Fashions, Jewellery & Accessories
Presented By:Fibre Friends
Tickets:537 Veterans Road
Contact:Verna Chan
Web Link:Fibre Friends on Facebook
We're looking for clothing and accessories designed and made on the Sunshine Coast for a Gala Fashion Show and Dinner that will take place in conjunction with the 2017 Sunshine Coast Art Crawl. Date of the Show/Auction is Thursday, October 19th at the Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club in Roberts Creek. The show will feature many categories of locally designed clothing and accessories. From a 'slow clothes' approach--garments/accessories made from locally-sourced/hand-spun/hand-woven and hand-painted fabrics--to recycled or commercially-available materials; entries may be hand-knitted, crocheted, felted, sewn or otherwise crafted. Accessories: Hats, jewellery, handbags, shawls, etc. will also be featured. It is our wish to give designers on the Sunshine Coast, and the fabulous things that are made here, an opportunity to be showcased in the best possible light, and to give a good representation of what is available to those who seek locally designed and created clothing and accessories! Email for entry forms:
