All forms of art welcome. Proposals should consist of:
Visual work: 10 – 15 images (digital images on CD or DVD or e-mail or file sharing: Dropbox, MediaFire and WeTransfer can be used to send large image files) clearly identified with name, number, title, dimensions, and a numbered slide list. If these are not the work you wish to show or intend on presenting new works, please indicate in your proposal; or 3 minute media submissions; A letter of interest, stating a summary of exhibition proposal; C.V., maximum 3 pages; Artist statement, maximum 500 words. Artists Wanted
$500 Cash Prize. Seeking artists to provide a Coast Salish theme for the Sechelt Banner project which includes the display of 25 banners in the downtown. All artists are asked to provide a brief description of the image and how it connects to the Coast Salish people. The image must be transferable to digital copy for a banner size of 27” wide x 80” high. All photos or rasterized elements should be at maximum 120-180 ppi at the 100% finished size. Portrait landscape. The art can include; painting, sculpture, or carving.
