This month's Artesia Coffee House will be presented Friday, April 28th at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt. As April is poetry month, we have two very special guests reading from their latest works. Theresa Kishkan who's latest book Euclid's Orchard was shortlisted for the Hubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize and poet John Pass author of over 19 books of poetry and Governor General's Literary Award recipient. The evening will also include music from the Senior Group of the fiddle group Bad to the Bow, Anna Lumiere on grand piano, Kaia Nielson, double bass and the Reflections Choir It will be another eclectic evening of live entertainment.

Doors open at 7pm, showtime at 8pm and tickets are $10. Come early for a good seat and enjoy treats by Trish, a slideshow of performers over the last 15 years and the current art exhibition in the Doris Crowston Gallery.

Artesia is presented the last Friday of the month January to May.

The Artesia Coffee House is organized by CCA members and is held the last Friday of each month (usually) with 4 25 minute sets of live quality performances. Linda Williams will be booking the performers and handling promotions, Peter Lietz mixes the sound and volunteers will be helping with the setup and front of house. 80% of proceeds go to pay performers & sound tech after expenses.
