Game Fields: SCYSA representatives books fields for scheduled games.

Soccer Field Dimensions:  Print a sketch of the field marking for a full size soccer field (parks); a 3/4 size field (schools - U11 & U12 dimension) or a U9 size field (schools)

Practice Fields:  All practice times are the responsibility of the team coach.  To book a Park Field (SCRD, TofG or District of Sechelt) send request to coastfields@gmail.com. To book gyms and school fields call the booking desk of the SD46 at 604-886-4480.

Payment: The league will pay all fees for use of fields for games and practices. Anyone involved in establishing a booking should request an invoice sent to the league.

Field use: Common sense should prevail when using grass fields for practice. During prime growing season, the fields are fairly resilient, however during late fall and winter, the grass is dormant and extra measures need to be exercised. For the most part, warm-ups and drills not requiring a net should take place off of the pitch area. This will reduce compression and will greatly increase the life of the field. Where portable nets are available, it is requested to move the nets weekly to spread the use throughout the field. Many parks have restrictions about where practices may be held - field restrictions are listed on this page. 

Closures: During the winter break, ALL fields are closed to both practice and play. This closure is to be respected by ALL user groups. As all fields are booked through youth soccer, any organized activity on fields during this closure should be reported to the soccer association to avoid children losing the privilege of using the fields.
