Sunshine Coast Legacy
2009
U18 Boys Gold League Cup Champion.

The team played in a highly competitive league rising to the top by beating arch-rivals Lions Gate Capilanos 1-0 in the final game of the season. This group of highly committed and skilled players was, without a doubt, one of the best teams to ever emerge from the Sunshine Coast.

Mountain WFC
2008
U16 USL Championships Gold Medal Team

Local lads Skyler and Julian play with Mountain WFC and were part of the Gold Medal win.

Skyler and Julian worked very hard to get to Florida; they had to attend 3 practices and a game each week to get into shape. Julian and Skyler started as substitutes, but their work paid off. Julian earned his starting position at the finals through his hard work at the pre-final practices and games. Skyler, who did not play with the team during the regular season due to a broken ankle, was asked to go to the finals in September - so he too had to work extra hard to be fit at the top of his game in order to play at his best.

Skyler stated how impressed he was with his team as no one walked off the field when subbing, they ran off, and only spoke of each other with positive encouragement. Even those who watched the Mountain WFC team play stated that it was clear which team wanted it most!
