Many practitioners have hooked with reused textiles, and we will too — with a difference. Beginning with a grounding technique and the easiest materials, we will progress to exploring a variety of textiles and learn variations on the basic technique. Our attention and time interrupt fast fashion and consumer culture. You will leave with a small unique sampler, as well as the tools, knowledge and resources to start your next project as you develop a sense of the creative potential and limits of rug hooking.
