Born in Newfoundland, Bradley Wells grew up bouncing between the two coasts of Canada, skateboarding and getting himself in lots of trouble, while listening to anything from Death Metal to Jazz. It wasn’t until he was 19 that he found a passion in making music when he bought his friend’s beat up electric guitar. From that moment on he dedicated every free minute to mastering his new craft. Now, a decade later, Bradley lives in Gibsons and is still dedicated to his craft. You can often find him busking in Gibson’s Landing and enchanting passers by with his unique and uplifting music.

Sat 7:30pm; Sun 2:00pm. This Pride presentation is a staged reading of a play by Dorothy Dittrich. A darkly comic look at life and death, memory and healing. It is the story of Alex, a 50ish lesbian who finds herself dealing with the aftermath of a recent crisis. Working to repair her garden she tries to assess and reassess, often with broad strokes of gallows humour, how she got where she is.

Just a boy and a girl trying to find a good harmony. Now based in Vancouver, Chris and Nicole met in Montreal, at a merch table while both fronting their own bands. They began collaborating by making duo versions of popular songs on YouTube. After acquiring over a half a million views on their YouTube videos, which landed them a spot on MTV, they realized the potential in writing their own original music. The duo self-released their debut EP ‘Out of the Dark’ single by single. Songs from their first EP went on to be finalists in multiple international songwriting competitions. Most notably coming 4th in Linkin Parks Open Labs Stagelight Competition, the duo also won do250 Cumberland Wild festival competition, scoring them a spot at the festival. After a successful first summer of touring as a 5-piece, sharing the stage with notable acts such as Shari Ulrich and Elliot Brood, the duo received funding from Creative BC's Amplify program to record an EP, live video and music video which they have been working on before they start their next run of shows. Described as 'Gemini pop’ their ‘two voices work as fraternal twins that mirror, support and split from each other’.

by Catherine Nicholls & Elizabeth Harris bro·ken . . . damaged or altered, disrupted by change. Imagine a work that lasts for centuries: it ages, it cracks, it may be broken and repaired but the makers vision remains. Imagine what we create now being used, breaking, being mended and repaired, lost and then returned as treasures found. Elizabeth Harris and Catherine Nicholls explore the process of deconstruction in a form of “time travel” with our newly made relics and discover the beauty in the bro·ken. As makers we would be content to see our work live on, in whole or in pieces.
