Living the Sunshine Coast dream is Diana's inspiration and is grateful for every day she gets to paint in her Roberts Creek studio. Description: In my studio working with oil and acrylic paint, energetic brush strokes and vibrant colors spiral onto the canvas in the way I perceive the dynamic movement of life where the mountains, streams, lakes, oceans, and skies dance in a celebration of life. Each work of art is an attempt to capture a moment of flow in the web of life, and to show the changing energy that interconnects of all life. We live in a world where time makes us run and we can forget to stop and smell the flowers or look to the stars. The beauty and light portrayed in her art extend into the room as if through a window. This approach touches the senses of the viewer, creating the impression of being drawn into the scene. Description: I paint large acrylics and watercolours. I am inspired by the moments that have stopped me in my tracks to marvel at the form or colour, line, shape, value or texture found in nature. I hope that others will see my paintings and relate to their own memories of nature. I also am a potter and do functional and decorative wares with a bit of a flare.
