The bark spirits are carved with hand tools and the denser knots carved with small power tools. The carvings vary in size from about 15 cm to 40 cm. Occasionally, I also carve larger pieces on commission. I find my material where I reside in picturesque Halfmoon Bay, B.C. It is washed up along our beautiful beaches and lying in the coniferous forest also on the mountain plateaus where it has been sun-bleached. Each piece of wood has a hidden spirit which waits to be released.

Address: Shared gallery/studio with Meghan Hildebrand: 6820 Cranberry Street, Powell River
Description: Original Paintings: figuarative, spiritual, animals & nature, magic-realism & surrealism. "With intention, I aim to share honesty and awakening; to celebrate this fantastic adventure; to inspire and be inspired. Each canvas takes me on a journey, and as my paintbrush follows, each time I am lead back to my center. As I step out of the way, and allow this art to come through me, and continually realize that the Art is not born of us, but through us, and in this understanding I am humbled, and profoundly empowered. May my paintings be a mirror, a reflection of your universal light, your human essence, and your timeless divinity."
